Espresso Coffee Machine makes easy to have rich taste of coffee

Espresso is a concentrated beverage made by forcing hot water under very high pressure through finely ground coffee beans. Espresso is a base of all other drinks like cappuccino, latte, mocha, Americano or macchiato etc. Espresso has the thicker consistency than the other coffee brewing methods.

An espresso machine is used to produce the traditional Italian coffee beverage called espresso. Espresso machines are the machines with a setup of metal filter container which is filled with grounded coffee that is forced down to compact the coffee grounds, and one metal filter is locked in place in the machine.

History

So, from where did the coffee machine come from? Mr. Laurens came up with an idea of the first coffee-making machine in 1818. In 1960's, the first filter machines were invented and the modifications have improved even more since then. And the first espresso machine was originated in Italy in 1901, by Italian manufacturing company owner, Lugia Bezzer. Since then coffee machine has emerged at each and every step and has come a long way.

There are 3 types of standard espresso machines and they are –

- Standard or Manual Espresso Machine: As the name suggest, in this you have to ground the coffee beans or get a grounded coffee. You have to control the forth control and add filter, grounded coffee and water.
- Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine: In addition to the manual espresso machine, it has an in-built coffee bean grinder and then just adds some water, control the froth and it will do the rest. Note: don’t forget to turn off the machine once it’s done.
- Automatic Espresso Machine: In this type of machines you just have to add coffee beans rest is controlled by the machine itself. The water intake, control of froth etc. are taken care by the machine only. It has a timer which you can set for when you want coffee and it will brew the coffee by a push of start button. It also has an internal disposal area where it cleans the residue by itself.

Best way to find the perfect espresso machine

To find the perfect machine all you have to do is to look for the 3 important features. They are –

- Pressure
- Temperature, and
- Time

These 3 features can decide whether the machine is worth buying or not. For a perfect cup of coffee, pressure required is 9 to 13 bar pressure. The temperature should be around 95oC during extraction and time should be taken is about 25 to 30 seconds. The machine should not produce crema i.e. reddish brown foam on top; it produces if machine works below 9 bar pressure. Real espresso is always without crema.

How to buy an espresso machine?

It’s important to gather basic information about the espresso machine available in the market. Compare the prices and features of the machine of different companies. In addition to this, you can go for online shopping sitting right at your home you can compare different products and can place an order for the machine.
